The trouble with utilities, particularly with ones that are monopolies & the illusion of choice. Is facebook heading down the path to becoming a utility? But, it seems to be taking for granted that it'll not be regulated. What happens if it does get regulated? Particularly now that it's got an international impact, not just a localized one.

The key is to diagnose the cause & then find a like-minded peer group to act as a support system.

Wonder whether things are as bad as all the articles that have been floating out over the last few weeks are making it out to be. Only time will tell.
In the meantime, I wonder what alternatives we have to facebook. Orkut? MySpace? Doubt that. At least my photos are backed up on flickr & bookmarks on delicious…
